A diamond unearthed is one way to describe the Swedish-Pop band Little Dragon. Comprising of high school friends Yukimi Nagano, Erik Bodin, Fredrik Källgren Wallin and, Håkan Wirenstrand – they make up the indescribable combination of sweet nostalgic sounds coupled with front woman Yukimi’s haunting yet comforting voice … Little Dragon is truly stimulating. Combining what OUT Magazine calls, "a cocktail of funk, R&B, nu-jazz, lo-fi electro, and trip-hop ", Little dragon can get your body moving or your thoughts wandering.

After just recently releasing their third-album titled Ritual Union, the popularity of the group has soared as the rest of the music world starts to understand the intensity but soothing affect of their sound. TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, ?uestlove, and Raphael Saadiq to DJ Shadow, SBTRKT, and the Gorillaz have already caught on to the sound and now this weekend Little Dragon shows Miami,Florida what they have to deliver to the music world.

The bands lead woman Yukimi Nagano has a truly unique voice. Her vocals have been featured on The Gorillaz most recent album Plastic Beach on the songs “Empire Ants” as well as “To Binge”. Immediately she catches your eye, she is an adorable Japanese-American-Swedish woman with the charm and humble personality of a saint.If you still are unfamiliar with the sound and magic that is Little Dragon I highly suggest you take a listen to some of their most popular songs and keep an ear out because you more likely have heard them somewhere at some point in time.
